My journey into the world of Sisterlocks / Brotherlocks started with my wife’s decision to go natural. I am a master of any trade I put my mind to, but I had no idea I would be on this journey. I was moving along in life content with the remodeling & repair business, but about 2 years ago my wife decided she was done with the drama of killing her hair with perms, beauty shop appointments that last all day, for a 2 day style all in the name of a look that was not really hers, she thought about twist, and was familiar with braids.

Nothing really made her eye sparkle until she heard about Sisterlocks. To make a long story short she found someone who said they did Sisterlocks, I drop my wife off for her consultation listened to what the process would consist of & left them there to decide. Later, we decided that it was worth the investment. We got up the money, set the date & it was on. So we thought………….!
Turned out this lady was not a Sisterlocks consultant she gave my wife fake locks or as someone put it “step-sisterlocks” my wife cried & pondered what to do next we paid “real” Sisterlock prices so I think she sort of felt obligated to just go with the flow.

We did not get to the bottom of it until almost a year later, but by this time my wife was well educated about the Sisterlock world, she met a “real consultant” who invited us to a Sisterlocks luncheon in Chicago.  There was every type of  Sisterlock/Brotherlock you could think of, sisters & brothers was stepping in with their loc’s  off the hook--it was simply beautiful. Now back in the day I use to be a license cosmetologist, but I had not entertained the thought of HAIR in years!

We are sitting at this event laughing eating & listening to hair stories, when suddenly my wife leans over & whisper --- why don’t you get certified?
We laughed it off, but as we drove back to Michigan.
 I realized the Sisterlock/Brotherlock journey won my heart and
 that’s how I became the
